Took the inflatable with the ten horse engine out in the surf, including crew member Andy B. Had an awesome time surfing the waves outback beyond the 8 knot buoy, there were some serious big waves which I could pick up some awesome speed come down the face. Andy was whooping and hollering, I think he enjoyed himself! Some scary moments too, but great fun better than all the rides at Alton Towers. Fantastic day weather too, slightly marred by the dramatic rescue of the Shrewsbury man at the end of day but makes you think and take stock. Think lifejackets and helmets will be worn if boat surfing in the future.
